OPEN INVITATION, POLICY DISCUSSION: In light of the current major restructuring of Arizona Universities, the Arizona Association of Chicanos for Higher Education (AACHE) invites you to participate in a public discussion at its annual conference to be held at Arizona State University. Please submit for consideration, a title and a 20-50 word description or abstract on any of the topics below or in any other relevant topic.
TENTATIVE CONFERENCE TOPICS: Chicano/Hispanic Perspectives on the Restructuring of Arizona Universities, Population Growth and Chicano Higher Education, Rising College Tuition, Chicano/Hispanic Administrators in Higher Education, Chicana and Chicano Studies, Chicanas/Hispanas in Higher Education, AACHE History and Practice, Legislative Bills on Higher Education, Dream Act, MEChA’s Position on Restructuring and Higher Education, Community Groups and the Structuring of the Universities. You may also suggest your own topic.
